Frequently Asked Questions
Tires price
Purchase conditionsThe price of the tire in the advertisement is indicated per piece (pc). The price is indicated in euros. Please read the Purchase Conditions on our website before buying.
Where and when can you receive the goods?
You can receive the goods:
In Helsinki - directly at our representative office located at Akkutie 2a, Helsinki. In the advertisement of a specific product in the "Location" field, it will be indicated as Helsinki Ladu.
Please also note that ordering non-seasonal goods (summer tires in winter and vice versa) may take a little longer. This is due to the difficulty in accessing some items in the warehouse.
Can you receive the goods in other cities in Finland?
Yes, we can send the selected goods to other cities in Finland using a delivery service. When ordering courier delivery, you will receive the goods at the address you specified. Delivery time is 2-7 working days if the goods are at the Helsinki warehouse and 4-9 working days if the goods are at the Vesse or Vesse warehouse. If the goods are in a foreign warehouse, delivery may take 3-14 working days.
The cost of transportation services is not included in the price of the goods!
Tire location
We specify the meaning of each location:
Helsinki warehouse - the location of the tire is Akkutie 2a, Helsinki.
Vesse warehouse or Vesse – the location of the tire is Vesse 4, Tallinn (Vesse outlet).
Warehouse – the location of the tire is another warehouse, from where the tire is transported to the Vesse outlet usually within 1-2 working days. There is no direct pickup from the warehouse, only either from the outlet or sent by transport to the customer.
On order 2 days – the tire is on order for 2 working days.
On order 3 days – the tire is on order for 3 working days.
On order – check with the tire seller how long the delivery time to Finland is. Email address: info@1arenkaat.fi
Note! In case the customer wants to receive the goods by delivery service or at another representative office, 1-2 working days will be added to the delivery time of the goods. For example, if the tire ordering time is 2 working days, it adds the courier home delivery time of 1-2 working days.
What does the marking "DOT" mean?
DOT indicates the production date of the tire. For example, if the listing shows DOT 13, it means the tire was manufactured in 2013; DOT 12 means it was manufactured in 2012.
Please note: if the production year of the tires is between 2020 and 2025 (as shown in the DOT code), claims regarding the production year will not be accepted. New tires with DOT 2022–2025 are considered new, and used tires with DOT 2020–2025 are considered fresh.
We cannot guarantee that all tires in one order will have the same production year, as tires arrive in large batches and are not individually checked. If a specific year is important to the customer, the tires must be selected in person. When ordering from a supplier, selecting a specific year is possible only by special request and may extend delivery time by up to 2 weeks. If the tires are delivered from abroad and the delivery time exceeds 5 working days, selecting a specific year becomes unlikely.
What does the marking "DEMO" mean?
If the DEMO field shows "yes", it means the tire has been used for a limited period, for example for testing or demonstration purposes. Such tires are essentially used tires with very low mileage.
DEMO tires may have minor cosmetic surface defects that do not affect safety or performance. The production year (DOT) of such tires may vary.
DEMO tires are covered by a warranty under the same conditions as new tires.
What does the condition "Like new" mean?
The condition "Like new" means that the tire has been used very little or for a short period and is essentially a used tire with minimal mileage.
Such tires may have small cosmetic surface defects (for example from storage or installation) not exceeding 2 mm in depth. These defects do not affect safety or performance.
Tread depth may differ from the stated value by up to 0.5 mm depending on the measurement method. The production year (DOT) may also vary.
Tires in the "Like new" category are covered by a warranty under the same conditions as new tires.
Does tyre labelling need to be shown at the time of purchase?
Yes. When buying new tyres, the seller must provide the labelling information before purchase — even if the label has fallen off during transport. On the website, near the price, you should see:
- an image showing classes (grip, fuel efficiency, noise),
- the product information sheet.
This is sufficient — a physical label on the tyre is not required if everything is clearly shown on the website. A printed label can be provided upon request.
Is labelling required for used tyres?
No. Labelling is only required for new tyres being placed on the EU market for the first time. Used tyres do not need to be relabelled.
